Sarah Blaszczok participated with Collective Ending in the Artist-Led Critical Exchange Programme as an artist from Paradise Works, Manchester.
Sarah Blaszczok's practice explores representations of realities and fictions, and elements of performative and cinematic space. The work aims to reconfigure and reimagine the familiar through suggestive, constructed forms, which are created in response to everyday structures, materials and visual culture. Predominantly working with photography, the 2D representation of 3D space creates a new site for illusion and possibilities. Currently, this process also includes working with found materials, collage and assemblage, exploring the qualities of the flat photographic image in relation to these materials and forms.
