Andrew Pierre Hart exhibited with Collective Ending as part of ABSINTHE §1 & ABSINTHE §3.
Andrew Hart is a multi-disciplinary artist based in painting. The predominant focus of his work is the symbiotic relationship between sound and painting, and as such, Hart’s practice is an ongoing rhythmic research and play of improvised and spontaneous generative processes. This “mutating practice” questions the formalities and dialogues around painting, identity, pictorial space, and subjective experience.
Andrew lives and works in London. He graduated with an MA in Painting from Royal College of Art in 2019, having previously completed his BA in Fine Art at Chelsea College of Arts (2014-2017). Recent exhibitions and projects include: The Abstract Truth of Things (Two-Person Exhibition w. Charmaine Watkiss) at Tiwani Contemporary (London, 2020), Run The Box (Solo Exhibition) at Guts Gallery w. Soft Punk Magazine (London, 2020), Tiffany & Co x Outset Studio-makers Prize Show (Group Exhibition) at Tiffany & Co (London, 2019), Led in Strange Ways (Performance w. Larry Amponsah) at 180 The Strand (London, 2019), Undercurrent (Performance w. John Strutton) at Northampton Contemporary (Northampton, 2019).
