Rafal Zajko

Rafal Zajko is a multimedia artist  working in sculpture, performance, and costume. His recent body of work incorporates wall-based concrete and steel panels that often contain free-hand embroidery slats and ice. His work deals with themes of monuments, socialist public sculpture and the relationship between the body and technology.

Rafal Zajoko (b. 1988, Bialystok) lives and works in London. Zajko studied at Central St Martins and Chelsea College of Art in London. He is currently finishing his MA Fine Art at Goldsmiths University. Recent shows include: Jaka praca dzis takie nasze jutro, Castor Projects, London (2018); Impermanence, Vitrine, Basel, Switzerland (2018); Halfway House, Exile, Vienna, Austria (2018); and On precarity, Grand Union, Birmingham (2019).
