Ben Reader exhibited with Collective Ending as part of ABSINTHE §2.
Ben Reader is a Cornish artist and inventor from Penzance. In 2013 he moved to London to study the arts, this is where his expansive collection of portraits took place, this phase was notable for its gloomy yet humorous undertaking. It was also here where the origins of Adella were thought up. After four years Reader relocated to Portugal, where he would create the infamous red gardens amongst other works and bring Adella and the game of crimps into fruition. The crimps is an unfolding sculpture and a board game for 2 to 4 players where players alter the winds to influence their vessels. Reader is currently in Portugal launching his new book Lyonesse and is making preparations for the sequel.
