Chloe Lund participated with Collective Ending in the Artist-Led Critical Exchange Programme as an artist from The Lombard Method, Birmingham.
Chloe Lund is a creative producer, facilitator, curator and artist. She has worked on community arts and engagement projects in a wide range of contexts, including an opera house, a university, a psychiatric hospital, community centres & high streets. Though varied, the projects she has co-created have been united by an interest in building connection, understanding and wellbeing. She believes in the need to move beyond abuse and exploitation (which have been normalised by coloniality, patriarchy & capitalism) calls for sublime, creative effort. She is also interested in frugality, re-use/recycling, sustainability, and supporting local economies and ecologies.
Chloe's own artist practice is unpolished and playful. It is primarily a way to work through emotions, secondarily for enjoyment. Underpinning this, as well as much of her professional work, is the belief that expression, play & creativity is valuable even for people that don’t identify as artists.
