Bio
Gwen Evans is interested in manipulating the human form to create an impression of the uncanny or bizarre. Her figures reference classical tropes within painting, which she explores through contemporary painterly language. Gwen has showcased work throughout the UK, notable exhibits include The Sennedd Welsh Assembly Building, Cardiff; HOME, Manchester and The Biscuit Factory, Newcastle.
