All Terrain Training exhibited with Collective Ending as part of BLO.ATT.
All Terrain Training’s current formula involves its revolving members challenged to endure engaged physical contact, taking it in shifts to maintain a communal tension over extended periods of time. Embodying the collected field recordings of Arctic glaciers and tectonic tremors, dancers use contact to think through the physical, wired into an ever-changing somatic organism. ATT members make individual adjustments that create the group's unique outcome, equally affecting and affected by people’s decisions to move.
All Terrain Training (formed in 2019) combines sound and movement practices of mother-son artists Will and Shirley Pegna. ATT uses movement as a catalyst to visualise our planet's powerful and relentless dynamics. Recent performances and films include: One With Nature at Vibram Connection Lab, Milan Design Week (Milan, 2022), Earth Din at Bristol Arnolfini (2022), Stadium short film at Lee Valley Olympic Velodrome (London 2021), Fairly fast drawing class at Sarabande Foundation (London, 2021), Flash at Lewisham Arts House (London, 2020) and All Terrain Training at 226 Honeymoon (London 2020)All Terrain Training (formed in 2019) combines sound and movement practices of mother-son artists Will and Shirley Pegna.
